There's no telling how old both the tree and the fence are, but they both must be pretty old if the tree has actually grown into and through this iron fence. This is the second time I've visited this scene to photograph it (last time was about 3 years ago). This is in downtown Athens, right beside the Arch. I also decided to convert this one to black and white for a little added drama (and also to work on my b/w conversions)! However, this shoot gave me some really neat color shots as well (due to the hues on the bark of the tree). Might have to make one of the color versions my "wild card!"

I love this cemetery! Actually, I have a real thing for cemeteries - they always photograph so well. Love the black & white treatment.
Actually, this isn't a cemetary. It's just along the sidewalk in downtown Athens! Kind of has a cemetary look to it, though.
I think this is well done and I admire you working in one with black and white. I actually tried to do that with one of mine, but it didn't save and I just gave up. This effect really makes this area look haunted.
I like the color version of this, too.
